BUSINESS PHOTOGRAPHER IN ROSTOCK

These pictures have a job to do.

You know who you are and what you do. We'll look at where you need the pictures and what they need to do there. One approach might work well on your website. Social media or the press might call for something else.

You understand a company better when you get to know the people behind it.

CAN YOU ACTUALLY PHOTOGRAPH THAT?

A business photographer has plenty of adjectives to choose from.

Professional, personal, authentic. Sounds good. It gets interesting when we look at what those words mean in your case. Your work, your website and the pictures you already have are a good place to start. Who are your customers? What should the new pictures do for you? What already works, and what's missing?

ONE PICTURE IS ENOUGH

Before the first email gets written.

Trust is a lot to ask of a photograph. But your customers can get a sense of who's behind the business. How you come across and what you stand for. And somewhere in there, perhaps a little of you too.

MY PLACE OR YOURS?

You come to the studio, or the studio comes to you.

That depends on the pictures we've planned. Where you work might be part of the idea, with your office, practice or workshop in the pictures. Or we might be setting up the studio at your place. In which case, I'll pack the car accordingly.

STAFF PORTRAITS AND TEAM PHOTOS IN ROSTOCK

Clean studio portraits in your office. Or portraits staged in your practice or on the production floor.

Ten employees are still ten different people. Their pictures should work together, but that doesn't mean everyone has to stand or look the same. We'll agree beforehand on what stays consistent and where there's room for differences. That helps when new people join and you want to add to the series.

Most people don't particularly like being in front of a camera. They don't have to be good at it either. That's what I'm there for. A few pointers and ordinary small talk soon make things feel more relaxed.

I don't need everyone there at once. One at a time is fine. Everyone else can carry on working more or less as usual. With several people to photograph, it's often easier if I bring the studio setup to you.

ANOTHER PRICE ON REQUEST

Fixed prices would be handy. So would standard jobs.

A portrait session with you alone is different from setting up a studio for several employees. There's a lot in between. Where are we taking the photos? How many people? How much time do we need? What pictures are we planning? Once we have a plan, I can tell you quite precisely what it will cost.

A FEW GIGABYTES LATER

A memory card gets to see quite a few sides of a business.

Perhaps you want to show more than who works for you. What happens at work matters too. I photograph people and situations as they unfold. Speakers on stage. Guests talking. Teams at work and the encounters in between.

It might be a company anniversary, a conference, a trade fair, a launch or a staff event. The people and the atmosphere are central. Branding, details and products can be part of the pictures too, if they have a part to play that day.

The pictures might end up in the press, on social media or in internal communications. And if you want guests to step in front of the camera themselves, a Photo Booth or photo backdrop can be part of the event.
