BABY BUMP BODY PAINTING IN ROSTOCK
Something else is taking shape here.
It starts with a few lines. Then colour begins to change the picture. Shapes become clearer and more details appear. Gradually, the whole design emerges.
Now there's a little colour in the mix too.
IT COULD BE ANYTHING
Polar bear. Palm tree. Moon.
Maybe you already have something in mind that feels right for you at the moment. A particular colour. An animal or a theme that keeps coming up. That gives us enough to work with. We can develop it together and decide what it becomes when you get here.

UV & BLACKLIGHT BODY PAINTING
Colour mixes with light.
The painting is finished. But we're still not quite sure which version we'll be photographing. Normal light or blacklight. Conveniently, we don't have to choose. We can just play with both.

CLAUDIA.PAINTING.CHRIS.PHOTOGRAPHY
Two become one.
Claudia paints your idea onto your bump. I take it somewhere else with light and movement. At some point the painting and photography blend together, and the finished picture has something of both of us in it.

A FEW MORE QUESTIONS
A few things to know before you come.
YOUR APPOINTMENT
When is the best time?
Your bump should be showing clearly and you should still feel comfortable. There's no fixed point in the pregnancy for this. The last trimester is usually a good time.
How much time should we allow?
Allow about two hours in total. Most of that is for the painting. Afterwards, we'll need about 30 minutes for the photographs.
Can my partner come?
Yes. Your partner can be there while your bump is painted. If you've chosen the larger package, we'll also take a few pictures of you together before the painting starts.
PREPARATION
What should I bring?
Bring a few plain items in grey, dark grey or black. Underwear, trousers or a top are all options. Black usually works best. Bring something to drink too.
What do I wear for the body painting?
We can paint over your underwear or directly onto your skin without it. Both work. You choose whichever feels more comfortable.
What paints do you use and are they suitable for skin?
We use high-quality body paints that are dermatologically tested and made for use on skin.
AFTERWARDS
How long will the painting stay on my skin?
Until you wash it off. Paint may get onto your clothes, but it usually washes out. If needed, a kitchen towel between the painting and your clothes can help on the way home.
How do I wash the paint off?
Soap and water are enough. The easiest place for the artwork to disappear is in the shower.
Do I have to sit the whole time?
No. Make yourself as comfortable as you can. Some people prefer to sit, others to stand. We can switch whenever you like.
