PROFESSIONAL HEADSHOTS IN ROSTOCK

Still need a photo? Let's take one.

In front of a camera again at last. You must be thrilled. I completely understand. Sadly, it'll all be over in 10-15 minutes.

Booking the appointment may already have been the hardest part.

DID YOU FIND A PARKING SPACE?

We'll take a picture or two as well.

Mostly, we just chat for a few minutes. I happen to have a camera in my hand. That's about it.

ANY QUESTIONS ABOUT YOUR HEADSHOTS?

A few details.

BEFORE

What should I wear for a headshot?

Something that suits you and the job. I'd avoid bold patterns or very bright colours, so your top doesn't end up getting more attention than you. If you're unsure, bring another option.

Can I bring different outfits?

Of course. If you can't decide between two, bring both. The Plus package gives us more time to try different outfits and variations.

DURING

Do I need to know how to stand in front of the camera?

No. You don't need to know any poses or practise in the mirror. I'll tell you what I need from you and we'll work out the rest in those few minutes.

Can I bring someone with me?

Yes. If having someone you trust there helps you feel more comfortable, bring them along. Sometimes it's useful to have someone to talk to or look at anyway.

AFTER

Can I choose from different pictures?

Yes. We'll look at them together and you decide which one you want. You're the one who has to use it afterwards, after all.

Is landscape or portrait format better for a headshot?

I usually shoot in landscape format. It gives the person more room and leads the eye naturally through the picture. Portrait format works too, although it sometimes makes me think of school photos from the 90s.
